Free to submit
Submitting music to Music Business Unlocked ("MBU") is free. MBU does not accept payment in exchange for coverage.
No guarantee of coverage
All coverage is selected at MBU's sole editorial discretion. Submitting does not guarantee a feature, publication, promotion, playlist placement, or a response.
Your rights
By submitting, you confirm that you are the artist or are authorized to submit the music on the artist's behalf, and that the submission does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Permission to feature
If your release is selected, you grant MBU a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to reference, describe, link to, and share short excerpts of the submitted release and related public materials on MBU's platforms for editorial and promotional purposes. We will request any additional materials before publishing.
Unreleased music
Private listening links are kept confidential to the MBU editorial team and will not be shared publicly before your stated release date without your permission.
Acceptable use
Spam, automated submissions, or misleading information may be removed without review.
Changes
MBU may update these terms. The version in effect at the time of your submission applies.
